My friend, it seems to me that you don't really hate life, you hate yourself. Am I safe in making this assumption?
Please do not give up on yourself, you say you've tried the bible, but I think you are lost on your path. I believe Buddhism may help you clear your path.
You know what's funny? Every time a topic like this comes up, all of the sudden everyone is an expert psychiatrist. Also, by saying "you don't really hate life, you hate yourself," really kind of doesn't help anyone. By telling them to go see a psychologist doesn't help. They already said, "I try to hide this from everyone." And why tell the person they have a chemical imbalance in their brain. Did you honestly think that would help? Or did you just copy and paste from some self help website. Just my take on it by the way.
Ok, on to you. The Bible isn't going to help, tear it up and release some anger onto that POS. Then find something you really love to do or want to do. Maybe cooking, writing, reading, working out, just simple things. Find a good comedian, one who always makes you laugh (for me its George Carlin.) Listen to some good music ie Dallas Green.
Also, if you hate life because of people, fuck em'. What's not to love about life, I mean granted the government screws you, but you have one go around. Why waste it? There isn't an afterlife, a heaven or hell, only here and now, so enjoy it and have fun.
I'm done rambling on now, YAY!
No, I'm not a psychiatrist but I AM speaking from personal experience. I can't say for certain if someone is suffering from a mental illness (obviously) but having been down that road myself I am just recommending the things that helped me when I was in a similar situation.
It is very easy for someone who is in the right frame of mind to just say, "Get over it, life is great!" unfortunately, for a lot of people things just aren't that simple.
I don't mean to come across like know everything, I was merely using the knowledge I have gained from past experience. I didn't intend to be unhelpful at all.
I used to really hate life too. But try to remember the times where you had something good happen and focus on that every day. I have been dealt a shitty deck of cards but I changed that in my adult life and got rid of the energy vampires that were bringing me down. So, flip out that middle finger to the world and say I'm going to make my life a happy one even if it shitty. Also, remember the more negative thoughts and feelings you put out there the more negative in the universe will come to you.
it's normal to hate life. life is terrible. but don't try to destroy everything or have the desire to. that's when it gets dangerous.
hes right hate it so much theres nothing left to hate then see wer u are...
I went through a patch of self destruction where i hated i was congratuled about something good i did and i went eagainst anything positive and made everything negative and came to a time where there was nothing else to destroy, hitting rock bottom was the best thing that happened to me...
try talking to someone close about this. explain your feelings as best you can, or just vent everything you're thinking, see if that helps.
Okay, wether God exists or not is off the topic. We can save that debate for another time. Getting back to your issue, I think the best thing to do is to talk to someone. This could either be a close friend or family member, just somebody that you can trust. I would also recommend you see your GP, they can refer you to a psychologist (if you want) and they can help you by giving you skills to manage and control these thoughts.
Religion does help some people but unfortunately, it cannot fix a chemical imbalance in your brain. Don't lose faith, both in yourself and life in general because things will get better. Good luck and take care!
