I hate it when my friends wear sunglasses?

I get it more if it's really sunny out or you have eye problems, but I get uncomfortable when I'm having a conversation with a friend and they're wearing black sunglasses, especially indoors. I feel like they're ignoring me if I can't make eye contact, or they don't want to talk to me especially if their head is turned away. If strangers were them, I can get freaked out because I can't tell if they're looking at me or not. I want to know if this is a common, regular thing or not.

Sunglasses are good for wearing so the ladies can't tell for sure if you are sneaking peaks at their ass or not. #respectingwomen

I won't talk to anyone if I can't see their eyes.

It's somewhat annoying but I can live with it. It's better than someone texting while youre talking.

I wear glasses which darken in the sunlight so I can't say too much about it since people have to put up with it for me all the time.

I prefer eye contact no matter what.

I don't really think that this isn't normal per se, but it would be unreasonable to expect your friends to just stop wearing sunglasses because they sometimes make you somewhat nervous.

I have sun damage in my left eye, and have to wear a hat and sunglasses whenever I'm outside, because I'm at risk for skin cancer. I don't care if anyone is uncomfortable, because they can't tell if I'm looking them directly in the eye.

Get a sun monocle for your shit eye so you can use the good one to communicate with people.

Hahaha! That would be cool just for the freaky effect.

The thing is I have to protect both of em, and I'm actually at increased risk of skin cancer on the rest of my skin.

If they were ignoring you, they'd probably tell you or stop hanging out with you. Most people where sunglasses because they look cool, especially black sunglasses. Most likely it's something to do with their outfits, or maybe their eyes are sensitive to light. (Not just sunlight)

For example indoor lighting as well as sunlight gives me migraines, so I often have all the lights turned off.

Sunglasses are an accessory. It comes with the outfit, not to disrespect you.

Me too. I need reciprocal eye contact to converse. You don't notice til it's not there!

Sounds like you are an attention whore who cares too much about other people being focused on you
