My boyfriend and I haven't been going out for very long... But already he's apparently certain that he's in love with me and won't stop saying it.
Everytime he says 'I love you', I feel sad for some reason...
Is it normal to feel sad?
Maybe its because deep down, you don't believe it? (Just a suggestion, don't mean to offend)
omg i get peeved at that as well, when you barely meet someone and a week later theyre already dropping the ILY bomb, like wtf?! ewww no, i dont think so... happened when i was younger, and like an idiot i said, 'me too?', biggest mistake ever seriously.....
Maybe you think he's lying to you? .____. ... I often get angry when a guy says he loves me, but I don't think he does...
But since you're in a realtionship already, that shouldn't be the case?
Sounds like you feel sad because you dont feel the same way about him. I suppose you care about him as you've been going out with him a long time but dont feel you connect in the way that he suggests through his verbalizations.
hey i can relate! i sometimes feel like "ugh why do u have to say that" and i usually dont say i love you back. so yeah it is normal. dont worry. but dont be like me. dont be rough or mad after that. cos itll hurt him. and youre just gonna regret it. but hey goodluck :D
