Buy the man a beer. I've given drunks money in AA to buy beer because who am I to judge. Perhaps that beer will lead him to what we call a "moment of clarity".
But... I'm not the first person to see him. I'm sure previous people have given him money before I was hired, yet he's still there. How many beers does he need to lie for to have a moment of clarity? D:
I hate homeless people so much

Thanks, you too. Could be one drink, who knows. I once gave a heroin addict a 16 ounce beer and an apple when he was coming down.
He stayed sober and got into treatment. Ultimately he is back using right now but who knows. It may have planted the seed for the future.
Btw this is in the text of AA literature, it's not my novel approach.
