    Oddly, I have 3 ex-wives, and I can't honestly say I "hate" any of them. Don't like the middle one much (things got nasty towards the end - really nasty), but still don't actually hate her.

    Perhaps when you say "hate", you actually mean "irrationally have now-unrequited love for the woman and need some way to cover that up so I don't look like a loser"?

    We humans will do some weird shit to cover up our irrational thoughts/feelings...
