I hate girl scout cookies.

I hate girl scouts selling these damn cookies! They're at work, events, every store, and everywhere. Most annoying pests! I've stopped giving white lies as to why I won't buy them. I just say no. That's that. But, could they give it a rest after that. Why must I explain that their crap, cheap product isn't on my purchase list ever.

I use to just be nice and buy them anyways. Now? Nope. I won't eat them. I won't feed these to my dog either.

Ha ha, I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, right?

  • Everyone has preferences. But, girl scouts are like a nightmare of irritation. I'm asked to buy these things at work, at school, at events, at stores. Should I wear a shirt that says, "No solicitations" ??? I get asked so much to buy them. It's so annoying. I have to be rude because some people selling them will hound you to buy them. They'll try to guilt trip you. They'll hold a grudge. It's ridiculous. Like, no! I think if I carried cash, they would try to take it from me.

If you don't wanna buy the cookies just say no, and if the person tries to challenge you then just say, "I said no"! I personally love girl scout cookies, especially the mint chocolate ones, but I hate sales pitches of any kind, and I hate when people can't take no for an answer.

    No is a complete sentence!

    ;-)

    I support your anger.

    • I know! I sooo know. It's harder to say no, and be firm about it with people I have to see every day. Like, I'll see them tomorrow. They will do their best to guilt-trip people to buy those cookies, grrrrr. Yeah I shouldn't care, but hey, I still want to keep the friendly group harmony going, lol. Don't create enemies over these cookie-cocaine sales.

I dunno... say something like I don't wanna be rude, but I'm sorry, I'm not interested, and I would really appreciate it if you could please drop it. I so hate it when people are pushy, persuasive and possibly even manipulative.

Honestly... and this may be off topic, but I can't stand most people who work on commission, I just don't trust people who can personally gain from my spending money or whatever it is. I don't care how wonderful the product is or whether or not it would benefit me, I just want that precious one syllable, two letter and complete sentence of a word to be heard and respected when I say it without any questions asked.

Thanks, and a big paws up to you! Anyone who tries to guilt trip you into spending or donating money on anything you don't care to do so for whatever reason should bugger off.

You shouldn't feed people cookies to dogs in the first place, yo.

Girl scout cookies are made from real girl scouts. Those of us who have eaten those cookies are cannibals:(

We all don't like the same things so it wouldn't be unusual to dislike the cookies. Personally I like them.

If you don't like them, then you don't like them. Normal. Personally I like their Smores cookies. I don't like the Girl Scout cookie cereals though. They taste like plastic.
    :)

They're better than boy scout homophobes at least. I personally like the cookies.
