  • You might be onto something. Still millennials are fucked up too. Many of my highschool friends still live with mommy and daddy in their late 20s. Always an excuse about the housing market or something.

    • I'm 24 and haven't lived at home since I was 18. Don't own a home though ...but you gotta admit the housing market is a little f*cked... well at least where I am.

      • Its pretty bad in Nashville. I found a house for 160 tho it was hard but did it. Mortgage is about 1,000 a month. I rented before that tho. Renting is more affordable but you have to live around shitty ppl.

      • Yes, I agree. Renting is enough of a burden now, I cannot imagine taking out a mortgage on a home unless you were earning 6 figures.

        • Just downgrade your housing expectations, put a down payment and have a mortgage for 25-30 years. You can sell your house later to pay off the mortgage. Yes you should have a pretty situation to get a house like having a family to move in. If you are just a couple or single the apartment or condo placement is a good idea.

    • I'm 21 and getting out of the millitary to live with mom and pops. I FUCKING HATE TO ADMIT THAT IM GOING TO DO IT. So I'm going to use that absolute disgust to power my way through college and get my own damn place. I will NOT live with my parents in my later 20s. (They will probably kick me out by then because they are good people)
If I fuck up that's because i fucked up. I'll own that shit.

      • I don't blame you for wanting out of the military though. Sometimes you've got to just accept the help. I hate accepting handouts from my parents too but there are times when you just have to.

        • Yeah it's pretty 50/50. 50% is getting emotional about it (the half that isnt in control) and the logical 50% is relieved that I dont have to be another homeless veteran.
