Uhhh actually I work in customer service and believe me when I tell you that you should be thankful they even say thank-you to you if they are angry. I have experienced many different rude customers who have made comments to me that were so bad that they wouldn't even be fit to give to a dog. Saying Thank-you to a customer is not fake because you are thanking the customer for buying a product that is making money for the company you work for, which in return by how many items are sold determines how much money and how many hours you will get. I'm not trying to nag I'm just saying when I recieve a thank-you it makes me want to come back, and if I buy something online and in the e-mail I get that confirms my order if there is no thank-you I usually won't buy from that site again. Just suck it up and give a smile, or maybe you are just not meant to work with customer service, but I hate to say it there aren't many jobs where you don't have to deal with consumers and it really sucks but it's American culture and capitilism is our country's lifeline, so unfortunately it just has to be done.
