I hate everything about myself

I have a crooked nose, I have small eyes, I have uneven lip skin tone, I have acne scars, I have eczema, I have some grey hair at the age of 22(I’m serious; genetics), I have yellow teeth and I lost some tooth enamel. I have no talent, I’m not smart either. I hate my personality too. I’m too shy, I have little self-esteem, I’m emotionally weak. I was bullied my whole life but I’m the biggest bully of myself. I have no friends because I don’t like myself either...

Most of those things are treatable if they bother you enough. I can relate to you in many ways, but me personally, even if I looked exactly the way I wanted, I would still hate myself. What you need to understand is even the most beautiful person on earth has at least one insecurity. The acne scars can fade with the help of a scar healing cream such as medurma. I can recommend that cream because it helped drastically with my self harm scars. I also have stress induced eczema but thankfully I’ve only had one flare up in my 18 years of life and it can be helped with cream as well. The acne can be helped with the right kind of face wash and moisturizer. I struggle with acne too ever since I got the implant birth control. I would personally embrace the grey hair because I love grey hair on young people. I dyed my hair grey once. If it bothers you, you can dye it but it will require more upkeep since grey hair doesn’t hold dye in very well. For the yellow teeth, I have that as well and they have plenty of teeth whitening products that can help you. I used to use a teeth bleach but I heard the crest whitening strips work better. As for the crooked nose and small eyes, you can do your makeup in a way that contours your nose to make it look straighter and you can enhance your eyes with a white eyeliner on your water line to make them appear larger and brighter. Your uneven lip coloration can be evened out with lipstick. If your nose bothers you that much you could consider plastic surgery but I would personally just embrace your flaws. I find small eyes pretty. I have small eyes and used to hate them but noticed I find asian women some of the most attractive women ever and they usually have small eyes. That covers your appearance now let’s get into the other things.

If you’re not happy with your personality, try changing it. Step by step. Take baby steps. It can’t and won’t happen over night so don’t beat yourself up over it.

I’m sorry you were bullied all your life and I can relate with you on how your biggest bully has always been yourself so that brings me to my final point. Counseling. I can almost promise that if you fix the way you think, you will realize that your appearance isn’t nearly as bad or as important as you think it is.

If you can’t fix what’s bringing you down, stop worrying about it. It’s out of your control.

    I wish you well.

  • Lol, I have eczema, but you're rocking both acne scars and eczema. Nice.

Most of these are just small/medium defects in regards to physical appearance, and the grey hair thing is actually pretty normal.

I don't like the way I look either. I'm shy, and I've had problems with anxiety and depression.

It might sound cliche, but the best thing, I think, is to focus on what you can do, and what you can improve about yourself.

Btw, mixing baking soda into your toothpaste or using a toothpaste with baking soda might help whiten your teeth a little.
