Hey OP I just read that in Germany small talk and idle chatter is frowned upon in most situations except for in private life. They don't talk much at work or in lines or to random people...you might fit in there just saying.
A year ago, over the summer, I did an internship at Seimens Healthcare Global. Its in the USA, but I did have to read up on the office culture of Germany. You have found my ideal world! Yes, true.
