I am forced to get on one for work every year, but I hate them because I have dreams all the time that I'm on one and it starts tilting upside down and I completely believe this is happening for real and that I'm gonna die.
Not a ridiculous thing to be terrified of, since it has been known to happen. But as JustAHuman says, you're far more likely to die in a motor vehicle crash. Most people have perceptions of relative risks that don't reflect reality.
I don't like flying either, but what bothers me most about it is being packed in a metal tube with a load of strangers for a few hours and being forced to breathe the air they've coughed and sneezed in. I think there's a good chance that, sooner or later, we'll see a pandemic of some airborne disease that has gone global mainly because of air travel.
Normal. But you're much more likely to die in a car accident than in a plane crash.
It's more likely a minimum wage TSA agent will strip rape you and throw you into a hole, never to be heard from again.

The flying part doesn't bother me, it's just being trapped in a giant pringles can with 300 farts that I don't like
I really enjoy flying, I just don't care for all the people on the plane, and I wish I could afford first class is all.
I've been in first class before. It made me uncomfortable. It was like I was nobility and all the others behind me were resentful peasants.
I don't know about all of that, but I love being pampered. One thing I really resent when I travel is that they don't give you the whole can of coke anymore. Then again, maybe I was on the wrong airline.
No I fly delta, southwest and aa and they dont give you the whole can on any of them.
Yeah, I HATE that bullshit. I haven't ordered a rum & coke on an airplane in ages, because I want the whole can. 🙁

Lufthansa has free soft drink refills and free beer for the economy section.
However, you can only have 2 whiskeys, or any other expensive drink if you fly Economy, maybe 3 if the stewardess is nice and your smile is genuine XD

I fly twice a year, usually business class, (For Christmas and Easter) since I work out a deal with my bosses and cause I have a bunch of flight miles on my Lufthansa card I never used.
It's nice to be at the front of the plane, with a free seat next to you, a warm meal and unlimited whiskey refills XD
I've never flown first class tho, since most European flights are usually under 2 hours and the planes are smaller, 737s and A320s and don't have a dedicated first class.
