Alright there is a few problems with this. I not sure if your introduction was suppose to be cute or something but it sounded like an introduction by a talk show host.Also "Tonight I had a dream about my teacher" makes no sense. That means you know you are going to have a dream about your teacher in which case you are doing it on purpose. There for do not have any real problem.
The correct way to state this would be "Last-night I had a dream about my teacher". Now to answer your question its not illegal for an 18 year old to date a 25 year old. However when it is teacher or student it might end up costing your teacher his/her job if they choose to pursue such a relationship with a student.
If you ask if its normal I don't really think it is. Since in my head I separate authority figures(anyone in charge of you) and family as OFF LIMITS. I guess I always acted what I thought was proper for these situations though and I guess some people really do not have any real boundaries. So to them anything is a big green light.
However I guess its more normal if he is closer to your age. That would be a 9 age difference and people do not see a big issue with such a gap if both people are over the age of 18.
