I got caught looking at a girl

We were changing in gym this morning and for some reason I was looking at a girl for too long I guess and she caught me. She called me a dumb les now it seems like everyone is laughing at me.

Is it normal she would tell her friends I did that and are they really laughing or am I just self conscious.

God I want to crawl up and die. I am not even a lesbian why tf did I do that?

    Hate to break it to you, but yes, she probably told her friends and they are probably laughing at you.

    There is light at the end of the day tho. Some of those girls are laughing just to impress her, others cause they are scared, and some cause they secretly like you. She might even have enjoyed being watched but was confused.

    Don't worry about it. It's happened to everyone and it's just part of growing up.

      This comment wins! Just remember when life knocks you down, get back up, dust yourself off, and keep on moving forward. It could just be that she is scared and confused about her own sexuality and may be going through something similar. If you really want to be bold, you could just approach her when she is alone. Apologize for what happened and just explain that you were staring because you thought she was very attractive. If she apologizes back, great! If not, at least you know. Move on. I can't promise this will work, or that she won't make other mean remarks unfortunately. Good luck!

        Thanks guys. I don't want to ask her out it's just I was looking so I can look more attractive like her. Then when I looked I stared too long, cause I kinda liked it, but I'm not gay. I'm sorry. I feel like an idiot.

        I couldn't ever speak to her. I cried all night in my room last night.

    Its normal to check another woman out to look at her body and compare, but don't stare to long look discretely we all have a look we all do it for curiosity, but don't get caught,you don't have anything to be ashamed.

      The stupid thing is, i was looking cause, well she is really pretty and everyone likes her, but I was looking cause I want to know how to look better for guys. I really want a boyfriend and now everyone thinks I am a lesbian.

        Dont mind what people say, they are immature and irrelevant to your life. They have nothing better to do. This is just a moment in time that isnt the best but it will pass, people eventually grow up/ move on to the next thing. hang in there okay? things will eventually turn around for you, maybe not at the time you want it too but it will come.

          Thanks. I know everyone is trying to be helpful and I get that highschool is irrelevent and will end in a few months.

          It doesn't make it easier to drag to school and sit alone and having every girl fake flash me.

            ive been there,
            paper clips, paper balls, gum, pencils were thrown at me, and the teacher knew and did nothing but scold them once.
            Whispers of "your a fag" "bitch" "die" "kill yourself" "no one likes you" "fatty" "ugly"
            every insult you could think of, people asking me out as a joke and laughing in my face. I wanted to end it all, i was so tired, tired of being made fun and i planned on cutting open my wrists and knew it could be all over.. but my little sister came in and saw me crying holding the scissors and hugged me and said dont cry and i knew i couldnt do that to her or my family and i wouldnt let those assholes win and have the last word. before i knew it, the bullying came to an end and now im here, living my life and i dont even remember there faces or names. i wanted to hurt them so bad but i just acted like they didnt exist. im sorry for the long response, just trying to give you perspective and let you know you are stronger than you may know.

        People have their own lives, I doubt they're thinking about you 24/7. Plus what they think isnt important anyway. You know yourself better than anyone else :)

          Thank you that's sweet, i am already a social nothing so it's not like I can run out and get one anyway. I don't even have friends already, so I guess I can just put up with it. I just wish people were nice.

          I know I stare a lot but it's just cause I want to know why they are so cool and I'm such a piece of garbage.

        I hung around a couple at the store for too long XD

        But I wasnt intentionally trying to stalk them or anything. My insecurity got in the way, and I thought that if I hung around them more it might somehow make it better. That they would be comfortable with me.

        Yea obviously doing it more just makes it worse XD
