I get really annoyed by "serious" books... :p

This is very random, but sometimes when I read some book and the characters are all serious and stuff, I get really irritated in my mind. I'm like, "Wow, these people are frigin' lame!" and "Stupid..." Since I love reading so much my mind is constantly thinking of the book I'm looking at. I think it's just my natural way of how to choose a book. Anyone know if this is just like personal thoughts or if it's just like, weird? :P

    lol... I'm not immature.

    And at isolated:

Well, I like the warrior cat books, which is sort of like war, but the characters always have different moods. But yeah your point is correct I dont like war or murder books.

And to everyone, the thing is that if the characters are serious. This topic is very hard to explain because this feeling is, well, "unique".

You mean you dislike books that have to do with war or murder?
Things like war in a story plot are very serious, even in a fictional book. I can understand how I dislike those kind of books because it doesn't interest me.

Read books that you're sure you wouldn't lose interest in, on with a lot of action or adventure if you're into teen books.

i don't understand what you mean by serious either.

if you start a book and find that it isn't holding your interest, or you aren't enjoying the characters, or that you feel that the charachters are lame, then put it down and go on to another book.

if a book makes it to print, then obviously it's selling, so someone must be liking it.

You say you love reading... but you don't like "serious" books? What do you mean "serious"?
What kind of books DO you like reading?

I realize that it's all opinion, but you sound a bit immature to me.
