I get my dreams mixed up with reality?

I often go through my memories and seriously wonder whether it was just a dream or what happened in the last few days. I believe there is always a missing spot in my memory.

Is It Normal?

  • Literally all the time. My dreams are super vivid and realistic. I very rarely have some type of dreamy dream. It’s all things that are physically possible.

  • It is not uncommon for people to experience a feeling of confusion or disorientation upon waking up from a dream, especially if the dream was vivid or intense. It can take a few moments for the brain to fully transition from the dream state back to the waking state, and during this time it is possible to feel confused or disoriented. This is a normal part of the sleep cycle and should resolve on its own within a short period of time.

If you are consistently experiencing difficulty distinguishing between dreams and reality, or if this confusion is causing significant distress or interference in your daily life, it may be a sign of a more serious issue such as a sleep disorder or a mental health condition.

  • Not for serious and specific things, but for vague and inconsequential things. “Didn’t I recently go in the basement for something? Oh wait…” “Wasn’t I having a conversation with somebody about this topic recently? Oh wait…”
