I get hungry when i c blood being taken out...normal or not?

when my friend gave blood i ran for the biscuits crisps & sugared tea....is this normal i just feel really hungry when seeing blood being drained.
random fact which may relate...im a graduate in biomedical science

    I guess because of what you study, you understand more
    I guess you feel the same as the person whose having it done, which I hear when you give blood or have a blood test you do get hungry (blood sugar and all...)

    You might just be indifferent to weird things. I'm in EMS and can eat lunch after seeing really yucky stuff. Maybe u were just hungry.

    I may be bias because I'm deathy afraid of getting blood drawn, but that is one of the sickest things I have ever read.
