  • I tend to think that it is very wrong to generalise when talking about Africa. Some people in Africa are hungry because there are wars and disputes, others because the climate is unsuitable for farming and many other reasons. One of them is that the westernisation of societies have made cost of living very high and it's difficult for those people to have a suitable standard of living.
    Africa is made up of many countries, each facing it's own distinct problem and we should never generalise when talking about Africa.

    • I realize what you are saying. But I believe I addressed that with the statement "They simply can't grow enough food to feed everyone."

      • Yes I've noticed but the problems are more complex than that - the logistic, corruption, just to name these two. It's not simply about not being able to grow enough. Believe me I know what I'm talking about.
