I found a pair of earphones on the sidewalk and took them

A couple months ago I was walking home from the subway and found a pair of iPhone earphones on the sidewalk. They were really muddy and nasty but I picked them up anyway and washed them in the sink and I still use them when I can't find my other pair. They work fine, so I don't see why my sister was so shocked when I told her about this. I cleaned them out afterall.

    I did that too - I cleaned them with isopryl alcohol or whatever though. might have been sitting in like cat piss or bug shit.

    I've found headphones on the ground before. I even got these one headphones from someone once and they had some earwax in them which was gross as hell, but I cleaned them and there's no problem now. As long as they are clean, I don't see the problem.
