I find wealthy, old texan businessmen very intimidating

Best example: T Boone Pickins. I know people from different generations and wealth class may have different manners but I find a lot of older wealthy Texan men VERY intimidating in their communication style. I don't feel the same way about middle class Texans or younger wealthy people (from Texas or elsewhere.) Even wealthy and powerful non-Texans like Trump don't come across to me as intimidating as T Boone Pickins.

I switched planes in Houston once. All the women had big hair. It didn't impress me. Boarded my flight to Las Vegas and never went back.

I have no idea but I really want to visit Texas, just to see the culture and what it's like in real life. Looks like it has some impressive landscapes in parts too 😊

People talk about it like it's a human rights hell hole which I don't get. "Omg don't go there, you're gay!". Chill out, it's conservative country but it's hardly Iran.

I'm down too. I have never been myself. They do think of themselves like theyre a unique country. I wonder if they are all "steers and queers" I want to see if their bbq brisket is better and if their borderline Mexican food is good too. Austin is supposed to be one one of the dopest cities in the country. I want to find out.

    • Texas in a nutshell. It’s flat, and big.
