It's normal but it doesn't have to be that way. It's okay to be more selfish in bed. If you have partners who always receive and never give much back, I suggest you look for more caring, giving partners, or have a heart-to-heart with the one you are with if he/she is otherwise a keeper. Maybe suggest a fun game where one time you do everything to please your partner while s/he just soaks it all in, and the next time reverse roles. Then give him/her lots of positive feedback and after that when you are fooling around, tell them, "I loved it when you ..., will you do that again for me?"
