I find public displays of romance obnoxious

There's nothing wrong with being romantic and such, but I find it obnoxious when it's wide open in public. For example I don't really like it when I see a couple making out in a park in broad daylight. Is that normal?

    Yes, being single it sometimes kind of bugs me to see couples making out in front of me at the train station.
    But I have learned to live with it.
    Now I just push them on the tracks.

        I could see why this bugs you. Whenever I had a date I generally would pull them behind a building if I wanted to make out. Since I did not want everyone watching us. I never found it very proper either.

    Yes it's normal. I just look away mind my own business. The thing I hate is when a girl starts making out with their boyfriend when you are around purposely to make you jealous or they're just insecure. :P

    It is annoying, especially if you're single and have no boyfriend or girlfriend. I am in a relationship and it still gets on my nerves when people make out in public. Get a room, people!

    I saw a girl sucking off a guy when I was kayaking. I backed up to get a better view and you know what? It was two guys. One was sucking off the other. I wanted to watch until the guy shot off but they moved further into the woods. SOB. Good while it lasted. Young fellows too with nice bodies.

    It's normal if you are alone or boring.

    The only thing that I really don't like is LOUD kissing though. But that's MY problem.

    Kissing sensually in public is something I would only expect to see from teenagers because they have no place to go. Handholding, playful, brief kissing, no upset. Humping in a park in public, in poor taste, but I'd just keep walking and not be upset.

    I wouldn't call it "obnoxious" but it really depends on how they are expressing their love. Usually, seeing people being romantic in public makes me very uncomfortable.

      Simple kisses or "I love you" don't irk me. But when it gets into making out or proposing in front of everyone, I find that somewhat revolting.

        But some of those proposals are fun to watch. I saw one where a man did a whole dance number and went to his wife and gave her ring after a crew of dancers sang a love song. You really don't think these little displays are fun to watch if not a big overdone?

    As long as I don't see someone sticking their whole tongue up someones butt in public I don't have a problem with it. Just look the other way. Or you could hide behind a bush and watch secretly to see the progression of love. **unzips pants
