She's a funny girl with what can be at times a bubbly personality but after she spilled the beans I was disgusted with her. I wasn't so much disgusted with her having slept with him but the fact that she was completely without remorse. I asked her to put herself in the wife's shoes but she just gave me a bunch of pathetic excuses for her actions. She was always wanting to fill my ears with whiny obsessing about some guy she shouldn't be chasing after in the first place. Sure I thought she was great before she told me about and expected me to support her selfish, needy behavior. Honestly, if I had known she was like that in the first place I never would have made friends with her to begin with!
Your view is understandable. I think most people feel that prostitution is absolutely disgusting. I don't condone it but the fact of the matter is that its consenting adults.
There's the stigma attached to prostitution that they are just low class, dirty women who are likely crackheads or something. That's not always the case. Though im sure many people are disgusted by the fact that so many people can have sex with someone with no emotional attachment. And as someone else just commented, it is the oldest profession so its not going away any time soon.
My concern and internal dilemma would be that he cheated on people i was still friends with.
I find a very good friend has paid for sex on a few occasions. IIN?
