Be really careful. They might be lying and attack and kill you eventually.

    • What if I told you..... the same thing can happen in real life? I don't see how it's any different.

I know it can, and the internet is real life, which is why it is dangerous.

I don't mean to be rude but why do you think the internet isn't real people?

Like of course there are robots and stuff but I doubt someone would fall for a bot.

Real people looking to take advantage of us, by saying all the right stuff on the internet, makes it more likely they will harm you.

It's just a saying man, what people mean is in person face to face basicly

It's cool we all take things way to litterally at times, some of the things I've said and done years ago make me cring

It’s OK to have a crush or even feel kind of smitten by someone, even if it over the Internet.

But you really shouldn’t fall all the way for someone you’ve never met, never spent any time with in person.

You really have to keep a wall between your heart and someone that you could potential fall for.

Otherwise that’s just a really good way to get your feelings hurt, or be disappointed or get jerked around by someone either not a serious or who gets cold feet

*cut to clip of D. Trump* we are gonna build a wall, but not just any wall. The greatest wall.

I agree, but I reckon it's too late for OP to put up that wall

Do you know what he looks like? Has he posted a picture? You can sometimes tell by the look in their eyes if they could be someone threatening or not.

I think it's easy to get an idea that someone you've never met is perfect. If you don't really know this person, take caution. Some people are cons.

Ask for a house tour first, if it's too neat or too messy or has boxes of knives you'll know your screwed but if you see an average dudes house(and he doesn't refuse the attic or basement portion) then he's probably alright.

I meant have him show you his house by taking the camera around.

  • Arrange to meet him, but just make sure you do it somewhere public. Don't do it to close to where you live, you don't want him following you home and getting your address. If you meet for coffee somewhere the first time, see if you have a good friend who will be in the same coffee shop while you are there. Then when you leave get her to stay and watch what he does, how he behaves etc.

Well it depends how well you've gotten to know him. It's easier to lie over the Internet or through text. Be sure he's legit before you meet him if you plan on doing so.
