  • Some morbidly obese people are quite happy with their lives. If, from my example, you got the message that the morbidly obese person wouldn't be happy, then you read it wrong.

    • Then what’re you on about “self-harm”?

      • Some people are masochists who gain happiness through physical harm.

        • Great. I don’t see how what your saying applies to the OP.

          • RoseIsabella was correct in OP's case. The issue is that WierdManFromTheSouth didn't exactly understand what OP was saying, which is a fact that you can confirm by reading his comment chain. I'm just saying that, under some conditions, what he's saying is correct.

              • You can be happy in an unhealthy physical state and you can be unhappy in a healthy physical state.

My grandma with fucked up hips who can't stand up straight and has scoliosis, diabetes, is way overweight and can't stand up without assistance. She is still happy.

My youngest brother is a healthy bodyweight with no medical ailments and is in great physical shape but is definitely less happy than my grandma.

So who's healthier? My grandma or my brother?
