I feel upset about black lives matter?

Okay yeh that title was kinda click baity but seriously! Help! I want equality for races but I'm white and I hate how I'm the bad guy even though I myself am not racsit. I know I know! It's not directed towards me, but people take it that way. I get looks and when I'm online I get insults and it's frustrating! I want to be able to just not acknowledge race because that's what we did when we were little and don't know about slavery and all that... I wanna go back to that. I felt like I could approach someone of another skin color and I could just talk to them but now it's like everything I do I have to think about if people will perceive it as racist. If I make sims on sims4 I think to myself "is it diverse enough?" Like it's not okay! Someone please tell me how I can stop it, it drives me nuts! I don't want prejudice to be my only thought process throughout the day because that's all I ever hear about... it makes me feel like I myself am a bad person.

Slavery is still alive and strong in Africa, but they only remember the white part. And it would never have happened if blacks did not sell other blacks to slave traders.

All lives matter! The black lives matter thing is just racism against whites and white males in particular. The far left wing is ruining everything with their lies and general douchebaggery.

Typical privileged, self absorbed, arsewipe response. You never fail to deliver.

Are you seriously too stupid to understand? It doesn't negate non black people.

You're like a fuckwit watching your neighbours house burn and whining if they call for assistance because your house is just as important. It's not a value judgement. No one is saying one group is more important than the other. It's saying that one group is facing awful things and the other not. Believe it or not, not everything is about you.

Can you just try for once in your life to show any Christian compassion? It won't fucking kill you.

      • You're kidding, right? You don't actually buy into this Black Lives Matter nonsense, do you? You know there's mountains upon mountains of video evidence, alongside screenshots of tweets, articles, etc, etc, that demonstrate that BLM isn't this well-meaning group with a good cause that you seem to be trying to portray it as, right?

Trying to segragate whites and blacks.
Trying to throw white staff and students out of university for a day.
        Saying white lives don't matter.
Saying Blue lives don't matte (cops.
Violently targeting white people, solely on the reason that they're white.

I could go on but I have to go to work.

Your response to Rose is uncalled for but more importantly has no logical grounds.

Shitty people are shitty people, that's not down to skin colour. A group of shitty people do not stand for an entire movement. But you, of course, have never understood that.

You're not one to talk about logic. You are, however, one to jump in to something you don't understand.

Go ahead, write your book. I'm not going to waste time with you.

          • Where did I say it was down to skin colour? Are you lying to have a point?

No, a small group doesn't represent an entire group. Numerous large groups in different locations do, aswell as other BLM not denouncing their actions.

Now you're saying I don't understand the subject even though I've just told you there is enough evidence to represent BLM as what I claim it is, where as your response is the cop-out "Not all" argument.

I'm one to jump into something I don't understand and not one to use logic, I've given specific scenarios that have happened, your response to Rose was a vague, useless, "You don't understand. Bad stuff happened to them", utterly worthless.

Ofcourse you won't waste time on me. You want to have your cake and eat it by insulting and being immature, calling people names because you think they're wrong but you're not willing to defend your point, especially not with me and we both know why.

It's not required but it's good practice to have intelligence before questioning the quality of others'.

            You have a nice day.

I have yet to meet a person in BLM that isn't a whiny, quick to get angry, white hating, misandrist, who likes bringing up the past and blaming others whenever things don't go their way. I can kind of say the same for modern day feminists and people in fat acceptance groups. I don't think any of these groups are bad, I don't think everyone in them is evil, and I do believe in/want equality for all, but when one deals with crazies, one is going to try to distance themselves from it. Maybe Rose had a similar experience. I'm not trying to insult you, Rose, or these groups when I say this.

Some people are shitty excuses for humans, no doubt. And they are usually the ones that stand out in the crowd.

I can't, and wouldn't want to, negate your personal experience, but to say everyone within a group is represented by the fuck ups is not a fair assessment. It would be like saying the Westboro idiots are representitive of all Christians.

I know it's not a fair assessment and I don't think the entire group is represented by the fuckups. I know as a whole that these groups have a good message, it's just that the crazies ruined things for me so I really can't associate myself with any of them anymore like I used to.

Sorry, I meant that as a generalised statement, I didn't mean it at you personally. Poor wording on my part.

I do get what you're saying, though.

      • Charli, when the vast majority of murders of blacks in the USA are committed by other blacks, and blm talks only about whites who commit crimes against blacks, then apparently black lives DONT matter to blm. Its nothing more than a bunch of racist assholes bashing on whites.

A few things you and other assholes like you don't know about black crime:

Most blacks who are murdered are murdered by other blacks.

Far more police have been killed illegally by blacks than blacks killed illegally by police

Nearly half of all murders committed in the USA are committed by blacks, which are only 13% of the population.

The number of white police who have illegally shot or killed black people is about equal to black police who have shot or killed whites illegally per capita.

It is more likely for a black person to kill a white person in the USA by nearly 2 to 1.

But black lives matter doesn't negate non blacks, huh? Do a little research before you call other people stupid and embarrass yourself again.

        Oh, and burn in hell.

Interesting. I bet if a feminist said all those things as they apply to violence against women where the perpetrators are men, you'd lose your shit.

Do you want to go ahead and delve into the socio economic shit behind all you just said? No? I'm not surprised.

Burn in hell? Hahahaha. You're precious.

Feminism is a failed social justice ideal. If you can't realize this, it's your own fault.

Violence against women is not the problem. It's the violence against the "patriachy" that really dooms society.

          • Yet again socioeconomic factors are used as an excuse. Ffs! Does poverty excuse murder or rape? Does growing up in a slum excuse a life of crime? Tell yourself that when someone black harms your family or someone you care about.

Do you know the difference between reasons and excuses? Show me where I said it excuses such things. Go ahead. I can wait.

Do you not understand that early childhood intervention and education has the potential to fix many problems, but most people only care about themselves and their immediate problems? Do you not understand that the people with the privilege don't want to level the playing field?

There's a solution. It's just people like you would rather play the blame game and be ignorant.

Those who support black lives matter shouldn't have a problem with a white lives matter movement, but of course, they would. What's that say about their intention and motivation?

You remind me of my awesome childhood. I was a military brat. Tons of friends of multiple races in my classes and at home. Yeah, I like that kind of friendly, nobody gives a hoot about what the hell some people in history did to such and such. Truth is that there are people that have no connection to that stuff. It's not their life. So, yeah. I just want to be friends with everyone because we like the same things or whatever.

I'm from Brazil. Here the africanist movement is not so strong, but feminist and lgbt is, so basically if you are a straight male, you're evil. If you are also white, then you are the personification of the devil itself (even though most people who call you that are also white)
Left wing are made by nothing but stupid people who can't see the big picture of the scenario they are in and the consequence of their actions, and that is everywhere in the world.
For you i recommend the work of the professor Olavo De Carvalho, he is a brazilian genius of political science and you should be able to find at least some of his work in English. If possible, i personally recommend a book those title might be something like "The Least You Need To Know To Not Being a Dumbass"

I haven't checked back since I posted this because I figured it would be a while before I had enough comments for me to kind of figure out where to stand. I noticed I had more notifications for this question then I did comments. Maybe those were deleted comments.

Im not so sure it's the OP. I noticed that your comments, Rose's comments, and a few others were missing. Yours are back up and so are hers, but others aren't, so I'm guessing it's either a bug in the site or the comments got flagged. Yours and hers were deemed harmless and put back up perhaps?

black lives matter is the biggest fucking racist outfit going right now. They don't give a shit for black lives. They care about making whites look bad. Making law enforcement look bad.
What if we had White History Month, White Grammy's, White People Network?
If we are a touch racist, it's only because the worst of the worst bring it out in us. Look at Hurricane Katrina and aftermath. Treyvon Martin, etc., etc., .....Wanna be treated like a thug? Keep being one. Who the fuck burns down their own neighborhood to show their disgust?

Why does America still have 'race' as a category on people's ID? It needs to stop that divisive nonsense. No good comes of it. The gene pool is a blurry multi-dimensional thing. Genetic borders are purely man-made.
