I feel that i'm not allowed to like childhood things anymore

In my childhood, I discovered many things that I absolutely loved. Toy trains, Lego bricks, Hotwheels, and Sesame Street to name a few. Nowadays, it seems that I could be looked down upon for adoring these things, yet I still really like them. Do I force them out of my life? Do I keep it a secret? What do I do?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

It's not at all unusual for adults to have interest in things that are originally meant for kids.
Adults have or collect toy cars, comic book items (hello, ComiCon?), doll houses, Barbies, dolls, "action figures," and yes, Legos. Have you seen what adults are creating with Legos? It's quite brilliant and stunning.

Those things are meant to exercise your brain as a child. They teach creative skills. Maybe try to translate the interest into something more current.

Everything except Sesame Street. Gotta give that up bro.

Put them in a nice airtight box, and put the box up at the top of a shelf in your closet.
