But really, it isn't just feeling like I don't belong here. I also feel cheated and betrayed. I could've actually had a loving dad in my life and I could still have my childhood friends in my life instead of still feeling as if I'm still being punished. I could've even had a older sister.
We are all cheated on and betrayed, that's just how life is, and we all need to learn to deal with disappointments and emotional pain and still have a good life. Can I offer you my favourite quote slightly paraphrased as I don't have the book handy right now:
NO ONE CAN TAKE AWAY FROM YOU THE FINAL FREEDOM: THE FREEDOM TO DECIDE HOW TO RESPOND TO ANY GIVEN SET OF CIRCUMSTANCES
from "Man's Search for Meaning" by Victor Frankl, a concentration camp survivor who was also a psychiatrist.
I think you're depressed and although you may need therapy or some other treatment, you could start to heal by yourself by not focussing on what you don't have in your life and being grateful for what you do have.
I would offer you a hug but I don't like touching people.
Stop hating yourself and/or your situation and find a way to dig a hole that leads you out of this place.
I feel that I have no hope left
