if u dislike her so much shes probably picked up on that and maybe its upset her too...
its good u turned the hate into empathy.. but she is ur mother.. if you're frightened for her wellbeing, try to get her some help. if shes pushing people away - shes probably dealing with issues and perhaps she doesnt want to put them onto her kids...?
