Hearing straight men say those lines is actually quite vile and enraging for me, and I'm totally heterosexual. I'm basically just asking you to try to empathize here.
Anyway, regardless of whether someone is gay or straight, male or female I hate hearing someone lament that someone is not whatever preference they think that person ought to be, because we all are what we are period.
