I was in despair about the same thing the other day. I turned on the History Channel and realized that human beings have had a greedy, bloody history and nothing much has changed. We just know about all of it instantly. If you're not worried about the environment, you're in denial. I ran into an extremely stupid man that said there's no global warming b/c Chicago was cold last winter. Weather is not climate. The North Pole is melting.
