I feel sorta selfish my big bro wanted to go to the. Marines hes in mostly good health byy his right eye is bad, so ge cant go I feel happy since U know ges safe, and selfish since im happy and ge is sad is feeling selfish like this normal?

    I think you're reasonably normal, because you're selfishness is based in concern for your brother, and you do sound rather self aware about the what could be the selfish aspects of your emotions. I think you just love your brother and want to keep him alive.

    Sounds fine to me. You just dont want to see him get killed, which is understandable.

    And the fact that we dont need to go fighting in wars anyway.
