I have to agree 100%. I think even on here, many are just up-tight pricks.
Sometimes I will respond to particularly ridiculous posts with something so far off the wall that only a total moron could possibly take it seriously, and yet half the responses will lambast me and most others will just not catch on, giving serious responses.
For instance, yesterday someone posted the most ridiculous post about African Americans. How ANYBODY could have taken it seriously is way beyond me, but many did and I think it got deleted. It was so stupid and silly; it was obviously meant to be funny. Anyway, I thought it was funny, and y'all know I'm not a bigot.
I resent that remark! I HATE PC with a passion. I am only referring to a post; they are not MY words.
I do not believe there is any such thing as an "African American" any more than I do not believe I am a "native American", which I am, being born here and all. Why can't we all just be Americans, in a melting pot, as intended? Sorry, please do not get me started on PC, grrrrrrr
I am and probably will always be an American, at heart. No matter how broken she may be she is the place of my birth.
In actuality, when asked where we are from, both my wife and I say "Our boat" as we are nearly stateless people in reality.
I feel people are losing their sense of humor

Why are you being PC? Only PC people say African American. Why not say black? Hell you're so old you probably grew up with Colored or negro.

It's ok to refer to someone as white but don't dare say black

Telling how you still refer to America as "here." I thought you were in a tropical paradise? You broke character.

I think calling a piece of driftwood your wife is a bit of a stretch. Even if you put a wig and lipstick on it.

If Tom Hanks can have Wilson, then why do you deny me my wife?
