there is absolutely nothing wrong with you. you just experience a different set of emotional reactions to things. read Camus' The Outsider. It's about a character to 'suffers' from a similar thing.
society has conditioned us to respond to certain things in a certain way because it is convenient. parents, friends... these have all tried to conditioned you to have the 'appropriate' emotional response. and those who DON'T fit into that schema are deemed mentally ill.
please, don't see a doctor or get freaked out. the psychiatrist will PREY on you and tell you you have something or other..
