You say "I've had a great night so far," or some nonsense, then "but this IS our first date. You want to split the bill?" She looked at me odd, then smiled and said OK. And later we ended up at her place, etc. Then the time I asked this girl I just met "you pay for the drinks, I'll get the next round" and as long as you really buy the next round, u don't have to buy a drink as a pick up line. Because every one and their brother asks women "derrrrr. Can I buy u a drink" not "you wanna buy me a drink-"
I feel like as a man, I'm still expected to do a lot.
