I think it's totally normal to think this, you've infact pointed out something that Gender Equality doesn't look into as much. There is such a thing as being sexist against men, and this is one of the ways it happens. Women are now expected to get masculine jobs to fight the power (if you know what i mean) and show they can be capabale too, but there's no drive for men to do femenime things, and i think this is what you're getting at. Men still have the expectation to be manly, women can be either way.
That is what I was thinking... alrhough I feel like the gender equality movement does get that, the feminist movement, which has the goal of gender equality studders here a bit.
I feel like as a man, I'm still expected to do a lot.
