I think society generally is probably more accepting of foot fetishism now than in the past. The key is not being really obtuse and awkward about too soon.
Just casually mention you like the color of her toenail polish, or you like giving foot massages. Unless they’re really prudish, most women are pretty open to it if you’re not super creepy or weird about it. You’ve kind of got to work up to a certain level of trust and comfort to talk openly about it.
