I just Google searched "feeling displaced in time", and found this. I'm glad it's not just me! Today I ended up leaving my house for work for graveyard shift, but came back when I was worried about something, and when I left again, I got this sudden, unsettling feeling that I was displaced. Sort of out of synch with how my life is supposed to go. It was just a temporary feeling, but it was so off and unsettling that I found it difficult to ignore. Normally I notice things like my life lines up with things around me in the sense that things "work out". There's a "just in time" sort of effect going on normally for me, and tonight I felt like I'd been bumped backwards in the "conga line" of life. Like, where I was just off enough, that it negatively affected everything around me. It was really weird. I haven't felt quite like this before--and least not to this level. So I def. understand, just trying to wrap my head around the idea, myself.
