It's normal. For Christmas my bf's mom goes all out and buys everyone tons of presents. A couple Christmases ago she got me Rosetta Stone, 4 or 5 video games, a small DVD Player, gifts cards and gift sets, a book and idk what else. I get more from her than my family and friends combined in a lifetime probably.. If someone asks me what I got I leave a lot out because I know most people don't get that much but I don't really feel bad, just lucky. I would never tell my parents, Dad especially because that would make him feel bad. :/ She's a little crazy during Christmas. ^^
However when I buy myself things I don't feel bad at all I earned it. I'm poor now though eating ramen, don't buy myself anything anymore. XP
