Hah, that's pretty cool. I think trolling is just a certain sense of humor that is less common. Plus, since you do it in real life wouldn't that be considered pranks? Anyway, I have also been trolling since childhood. Weird thing though, I hate pranks that involve lying to people in anyway (which is most of the ones on shows like candid camera, sure they're clever but it makes me extremely uncomfortable to watch).
Some of the coolest people I've met online have been trolls/griefers. Not simply because of that, but because of the personality it takes to understand that kind of humor.
Ps. I think I know who wrote this, and you play second life right? That used to have a pretty cool community of griefers, their sim has been banned many times. But it was not simply griefing- the avatars and weapons they designed were really cool too. They even vandalized linden labs irl with their memes which was pretty awesome
Oh woops, my bad. Point is though, they had a community of trolls and they were the most interesting/fun people in the whole game IMO. their whole purpose was to mess with the users who took the game way too seriously. It's just takes a different kind of less popular humor to be a troll, you aren't alone but I think the world could use more trolls :)
