    dude, that's totally normal.

i used to feel like this too, and still do. i think too much in general, and i have trouble being in the moment. that's why when there's a group and they talk about something boring, i just zone out. i think about a book or a movie or something else just because i'm not interested.

    WHATEVS!

Sometimes being surrounded by a group of people makes me feel more lonely than if I were actually alone. I guess I feel like I don't have an excuse to be feeling that way, and it intensifies the loneliness.

Feeling alone probably comes from feeling a lack of connection with any of those people in your group. I think it's normal to feel it occasionally, but it shouldn't be all the time.

  • I feel the exact same way as you do, always. I've never known why, but it's true. :)

maybe u have social phobia or anxiety around people so when u are with them instead of going with the flow you are thinking about other things and that puts u in an unconfortable situation... im just guessing.. and most people might suggest u to go see a psychologist i suggest u fix this on your own because ive been to many in the past and trust they were very reputable psychs but they didnt do anything just listened to me and took my money... i say go out discover what u like, change patterns and ull see maybe ull find the answer to ur own question.. i hope this helped =)

Well, this has happened to me before. What happens to me is, I am with all these people, having a blast, and suddenly, I'm brought down. I don't talk much and I just kinda go with whatever they're doing.

What you've just described is one of the biggest signs of early depression. Don't wait! Talk to someone right now.

You don't need to have anything bad happen to experience depression. Many people who live otherwise happy lives fall victim to this, and they don't know to ask for help because they tell themselves there is no reason to be depressed.

Please talk to someone. You took a good step in asking on here, now get help before it gets worse.
