I enjoy psychologically torturing people, is that normal?

  • How exactly do you psychological torture them? If you mean subtly experimenting on their mind without them knowing, I do the same thing, but it's not normal. If you torture them for the pure enjoyment of it, you're just a passive sadist.

    • Like I said, I find it very entertaining but I will not go out of my daily life just to pursue these acts. If it happens to be in my way I'll sit back and enjoy the show. If I have to do it in order to get what I want, why not have a little fun with it?

      • But how exactly DO you psychologically torture people? I am highly skilled at manipulating and controlling people by using their emotions/traumas to my advantage, for example. If you do something like that, it's not torture, merely manipulation. An example of psychological torture is if someone were restrained and forced to watch their child being beaten up/abused in front of them. As it would most likely traumatise and emotionally scar the parent as well.

        • My version of torture is just to watch them ellicit emotional distress from doing nothing "wrong" than saying a few words or jestures. I wouldn't go out of my way just to pursue entertainment so I wouldn't be able for your example, restrain them and let them observe someone they love be abused. Solely on the reason that I would get caught
