Physical pain I can understand to an extent. Some rough sex can be pleasurable and hot, I like a little biting, including my nipples, but not extreme pain that could cause damage.

However I don't understand how you like emotional pain. I've felt the whole gamut of emotional pain throughout my life and I hate it. I also don't like people who cause such pain to others. I don't see the appeal in having someone make you feel terrible.

So I'd say 'not normal'...but normal is a very elastic term nowadays.

The sensation of pain is your nerves sending signals to your brain that something is wrong and you must act on it (ie reduce the pain)

If you give yourself (?) pain, and just sit there enjoying it, then its possible that one day you may hurt yourself really badly and not seek help (even from yourself)

ie Seek help, I'm sure there's medication for this.

if you're a freak then you and the rest of us should start a Freak club. pain is pleasure :-)

I'm not too big on emotional pain but I love physical pain. You know, the kind that makes you feel almost drunk ^_^

It's possible that the pain receptors in your brain are all "messed up" or there's something wrong with your nerves. 'Something' could even be pushing on that part of your brain, causing your reactions/feelings to something, to be distorted. I would honestly seek a medical consult.

Ps my gf loves causing pain to love ones i think that's why we have rough se yes we at aged I just sticking it to people how say kids are young to date I think she think rough sex hurts me hahaha

i dont know if its normal, but i wish i had it- definitely dont try to change it. if you enjoy emotional and physical pain, than when do you ever feel bad? sounds pretty awesome to me, maybe im not understanding it right

It's not someone being "unequipped" for survival, what about those people that can't feel pain at all but it's not their fault, it's a medical condition?

Survival is about will, not whether standing on a plug hurts.
