    Out of curiosity, OP, where are you getting your fish from? Normal aquarium fish aren't really safe to consume for various reasons. Do you have a pond, or some sort of seller? Or do you follow the sorts of regulations needed in fish meant to be consumed?

      What's the big deal? They're delicious, you should try it honestly. Way better than anchovies. Can't describe the taste, it's totally unique in a way. Yet oddly familiar in a sense.

      I can't describe it, like carp if you've had it. Yet different. Incredibly delicious honestly, and they go great on pizza imo

        Makes sense that they would taste like carp, since, if I recall correctly, goldfish are descended from them.
