I dreamed/nightmared i married myself

I’m a 24 year old single (never been married) guy and last night I had a nightmare that freaked me the hell out.

I was in a full church standing at the end of the aisle with a vicar, wearing a suit with a blue tie as if I was about to get married. Then the organ started droning out deep slow music and my bride appeared at the other end in a big puffy wedding dress. She starts towards me and everyone gasps and murmurs, then “she” looked up and it was me in the wedding dress!

Suddenly I was wearing the dress, shuffling down the aisle with everyone laughing at me, grabbing handfuls of the big skirt weighing me down until I woke up.

Does this mean I’m gay?

    WOW. I wouldn't say gay. But in love with yourself. Which would make sense, doesnormalmatter.

          Time to research narcissism I guess. I’m still not going to look at wedding dresses or brides in the same way again.

    Weird dreams are pretty normal. I once dreamt I was a man and my boyfriend was a woman and we got married. I'm not transgender nor did the dream make me trans. XD

      That’s sort of comforting. I think I was over reacting thinking I was gay- why would that start at 24? And why/how would I be gay with myself? Unless wanking counts as being gay with myself...

    I once had a dream that I was going on a date with a girl. When she arrived she was a man, in normal men's clothes etc, but noone seemed to notice and I knew there was something strange about her but couldn't put my finger on it. Eventually I figured it out and I was like "you're a man!".
    I cant remember what happened after that

    If that's the only thing that's making you worried about being gay, forget it.

    I dreamt I was a bloke when I was 8 months pregnant, which was weird and resulted in me doing some research (no internet then) and became worried I was rejecting my female role. A couple of years ago I became attracted to another woman and later was only with women for decades, but I don't think the dream had anything at all to do with that.
