    But what about when you compare yourself in the mirror with photos of you? That's proof then that that's what you look like.

      It gets worse with photos. All I see is an average looking version of me yet I'm convinced I'm a handsome dude, women have told me.

        Well then that's just because you're not a great judge of male attractiveness, or you have a warped view of yourself because of low self-esteem or something. There's no reason to believe that the person in the mirror isn't you or anything like that.
