Yeah, it's normal. Everybody has their reasons why they either want kids or don't want kids. At the end of the day, it's your decision. If you don't want a child, that's fine. You have your reasons, and people should respect that.
I told my mom once that I wasn't sure if I will have babies in my future. I'm still pretty young though.
Honestly, I think you're facing this very well. I mean, it's something that you're thinking about thoroughly, and with your eyes wide open. You're thinking through all the possibilities of what could be, and how your life will be changed around, and the responsibility that comes with mothering. You don't want to go into something with your eyes closed. You're looking at it from every angle. Applause to you for realizing how serious it is to have a child.
