I think you should just let the cross thing go. If she has that much of lack of boundaries that she's already carving shapes into you, I'm sure she'll hire a private investigator to find your new address no matter where you go. It's no fun living in fear of someone. Just get along with her and be extra nice to her, maybe she'll reward you greatly.
