ugly is a social construct. there's no such thing as ugly. having these feelings is valid, though. but if you think about it, there's no particular reason why we think that things are "ugly" and "beautiful". for example, some people find lots of makeup beautiful and some don't, which just shows you that it's truly subjective; there's nothing objectively beautiful. so you shouldn't base your opinion of yourself on others' opinions. they should NOT tell you that. you're beautiful!!! one time my freshman year of high school this boy said i was ugly and it made me feel really bad about myself, but now lots of people tell me i'm really beautiful. my appearance didn't change that much; i just happened to be seeking validation from the wrong people.
