I don't understand!!!

I don't understand how space can just go on for ever and ever like idk how it would jus end either though it's just like we r the freaking tiniest things ever compared to space but pls comment nd try to explain how space just goes on forever and never ends. Is it normal to think this?

  • The edge of space can be defined as where light, radiation and gravity have not reached yet, obviously this is always expanding, a person could never reach the edge of space though. This is just something i learnt in physics but it still freaks me out as well, infinity is something a human mind cannot seem to grasp. Have a look at this cool app on this webpage

  • It's normal, I think about it a lot and it's very scary but it's helped me cope w/ the thought of death. Like we r nothing special. Doesn't matter what's happens in our life or to our world, we r such a tiny fraction in the universe

  • we do not know if there is an end to space, but it is possible that there is just an infinite loop, you start here and once you reach a certain point, you go back to the start. of course that is to put it simply. just leave those thoughts for people like Stephen Hawking.
