If I get this right, you suspect your lover of cheating on you?
Once this has raised it's ugly head; "I don't trust you", it's all over, but the division of stuff.
Perhaps you could forgive the infidelity, but if you don't trust someone, there is absolutely NOTHING left to salvage.

No, it isn't a lover. Just someone I thought was a friend. Sadly they are too wrapped up in their own misery to notice they are lying to me about who they really are. And they wonder why they have no friends, probably because they lie everyone, including themselves.
